In 2019, Sijo Nathan Young carried Light Sword Martial Arts onto the world stage for the first time. Competing across Portugal and Spain at the WAC World All-Style Championship as Saberation and Light Sword Martial Arts, he put the discipline into the international competitive record.
That moment laid the groundwork for everything that came after — the national federation pathway, the World Games bid, and the structure the Light Sword Martial Arts Federation pursues today.

Long before he became the Father of the Forms at Light Sword Training Academy, Sijo Nathan Young was already a legend in martial arts. 2× World Champion. Performer at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Black Belt Magazine feature. Second-generation Jeet Kune Do practitioner in the Bruce Lee lineage.
